Deployment of the world's population

People from the moment of their appearance had a tendency to move. Population centers were formed in different places of the globe. Today, change of residence may result from the perspective of better living conditions of the possibility of finding a better job. The truth is that in the past, the continuous movement allows the community to provide the means to survive- search for new sources of food, adopt a new material for clothes and dwellings. It seems that with the development of agriculture people started to consistently create clusters of population and settlement in certain place for a longer time.
This was especially areas with good natural conditions.
The development of agriculture significantly contributed to the growth of urban centers. Development of the industry also started a great migration of peoples, like for example huge emigration of people from Europe to America. These people moved to a new continent in the hope of a better life and also contribute to the religious intolerance in their home countries.

The settlements are in almost all regions of the globe. The exceptions include the Arctic-course due to lack of favorable natural conditions. Without any doubts i think that the largest concentrations of urban population living in America and Europe. The industrialized countries are characterized by the concentration of population in urban areas. These areas have a much higher population density than implied by the indicator showing the situation in the country. For example 92% of the population in Great Britain lives in cities. And for comparison in India 72% of the population lives in rural areas-mainly because of this that India is a more agricultural country.

Big impact on the deployment of the world's population is climatic conditions.  For example settle on ice-covered Antarctica and strong wind or the Arctic would be impossible due to hard weather conditions. These conditions also occur in Siberia and northern Canada. It would be impossible to develop an agriculture in any of these places.
The situation is completely opposite on the warm areas of the globe. High temperatures and precipitation provide excellent conditions for the development of agriculture.
However, there is a low population density in areas where rainfall is scarce or not present at all. These include southwestern deserts of Africa, the Sahara and the central part of Australia. Population centers are created here in the areas of oases and river valleys.

Factor determining the distribution of the population are also mineral wealth. The presence of especially valuable mineral deposits often inclined man to colonize the most inhospitable parts of the globe. The discovery of gold in Australia in 1851 led to a massive influx of fans to easily earn the gold-bearing areas. Just not a lot of gold seekers arrived many were able to win a fortune. The remaining oblivious to the difficulties settled in these areas permanently. The influx of gold prospectors led to a significant increase in the population of Australia.

Also technological advances and prevalence of central heating or air conditioning, allowing the colonization of places where natural conditions are unfavorable for a long time is impossible. The use of irrigation systems allowed to settle in the arid areas, such as: Neveg desert in southern Israel.

Migration of people

As i said before at the moment i am living in Spain. Beautiful, sunny country which is for sure one of the most beautiful countries in the Europe. Well, no wonder why so many people wants to living here and comming for holidays. Related to this fact i would like in my first post issue about migration people.

Below i posted one video. In this video people answering why they choose for live Spain. Mainly there are British people but speaking about migration i didnt mean only British people. I mean in global scale migration, all over the word, people of every nacion.

People in this video mainly noticed the weather, beauty of the country saying that its good place to live. Of course i have the same opinion. But we must noticed that not only the comfort of living in beautiful area is the main reason why people migrate to other countires.
The main reason, especially over the few years back, was the reason to get a job and better comfort of life in a material sense.
I would like to focus now on the migracion of polish people to England. Especially after Poland was admitted to the European Union in 2004. After this year emigracion of polish people to England took a hudge size. Year by year, the number of Poles living temporarily abroad was increasing, reaching in 2007 the highest value estimated at around 2270 thousand.
But i would like to noticed that among people temporarily abroad- often for years, large part did not made out from permanent residence of Poland.
Migrations are a part of human nature. From the earliest times people moved around, leaving a current territories and settled on other. The result of this was for example the development of civilization in different corners of the globe and also the mixing of races. The reasons for migration were different, but definitely care about being was the most important, to provide food and safe shelter.
Nowadays many people leaves following the prospect of higher earnings in the destination country.
The main directions of migration (emigration regions) are: United States, Germany, France (especially the population of the former colonial countries), the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Japan.
It is estimated that in 2002, there were 175 million international migrants, which represents 3% of the world's population.
This blog have been created to share information and news about global things all over the world.
Inspiration to create this blog was that actually i am on the Erasmus exchange student in Spain and as i choose the subject in University of Alicante named GLOBALIZATION ECONOMIC ( in Spanish Economia de la globalizacion) profesor suggest us to create our own blog to share information on a global scale.
